Life is Good

Well, It has been over a month and I am back to trying blogging again. Life has been good as you can see by the title of this post. I want to tell you all about the fun things that have been happening in our lives. But, where to start?

Well, last time I posted, Hubby and I were looking for our first house, and after lots of searching and a few scary walk-throughs, we found the perfect cute little house. It looks super tiny from the outside, but it is perfect for us, and today we are signing the papers to own our very own home. Super Excited!!! We are moving even more in to the Mormon bubble, but I guess this "U of U" girl will have to get used to seeing Blue every where. Hubby is a big "Y" fan so he is pleased with the relocation.

I am so excited to start working on our house and making it a home, Our Home. While I am incredibly grateful to my In-Laws for letting us stay here, I am Super Excited to get to tear out, build, paint and just make our house ours.

Here is the Picture that was online
I haven't taken any of my own yet, but that is my house!

So that is the Family News, now to individual updates...

Hubby has been working for Nestle as a temp for 8 months but this last Monday he became an Official Nestle Employee! YAY!! Hubby!
He brought home Red Roses and Martinelli's to celebrate the occasion.
We Love Martinelli's for Special occasions.

So those were the happy updates

Now I never promised that all my posts would be sunshine and daisies, and the rest of this post is slightly lacking all that yellow happy goodness, but I wanted to share what was going on with us.
We have had some sad days here amongst the Clan. My grandfather passed away March 1st. He was 84 years old

Here are a couple pictures of my grandpa, the one on the left was taken about 2 1/2 years ago while the one on the right is from my wedding last June.
He and my grandmother were married for 63 years. I was very close to my grandparents growing up (both physically and emotionally) and it was really hard to see him go, but I know that he is in a much better place now and he is watching all of his family missing us and watching our crazy antics. I will miss my Grandpa a lot and it will take a while to stop being sad, but I will see him again, and that helps. Even now as I write this post I am finding it hard not to get teary eyed. He was a crazy old man, but we loved him. He was our Grandpa, there are many like him in the world, but this one was ours. He agave us a lot to live up to and a lot to work for. While we all think he left us too soon, he also left us a great example to follow. He was married to his sweetheart for 63 years, I haven't even reached 1 year yet, so I have a long ways to go.

Thanks for keeping up with all the Clans happenings. I'll post again soon.
